Smt. Ramya Mangala Lakshmi, daughter of Smt. Srividya and R Ramakrishnan, did her schooling from National Public School, Rajajinagar.

From a tender age she has been learning Shlokas from her mother, and was also initiated into Bharatanatyam, Carnatic Music and Veena and continues to learn under able guidance of her Gurus. Mostly a self-taught drawing artist, she is also learning Sanskrit under the tutelage of her grandfather Dr Krishnamurthy Sastrigal, her brother and family members, and has successfully completed the 5 Sanskrit exams conducted by the Surasaraswathi Sabha, Sringeri. She has been blessed by the Jagadguru of Sringeri for having memorized all the 18 chapters of Bhagavad-Gita in 2017. Ramya has also completed the 4 Bhagavad-Gita exams conducted by the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, in 2015.

She has participated and won in several prestigious competitions including those conducted in Iskcon Bangalore, Egmore sanskrit school, Chennai and many others. She emerged as the gold medallist in the National level, all 18 chapters Bhagavad Gita competition conducted by the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams in 2021.

Conducts sessions for the Samskritha Bharati kids, where she narrates Indian mythological stories and stories from our Puranas with morals, for kids with teaching of stotrams.

Ramya along with her brother and support of parents, conducts private Sanskrit classes at home, preparing students for Surasaraswati Sabha and Chittoor Exams.

A people's person and a passionate teacher. She looks forward to using her knowledge for the progress of society. Ardent learner of Indian arts, she also makes a humble effort to pass on what her gurus are passing on to her, by taking tiny steps in teaching.

Her passion for dance, music and drawing overtook and she graduated as a Gold-Medallist in her BA in Music, English and Psychology from REVA University, Bangalore.

She holds Masters in Carnatic Music from JAIN University, Bangalore and Masters in Bharatanatyam from Annamalai University, Chidambaram.

Ramya works as a Linguist at Vyoma Linguistic Labs Foundation.
