Sundarakandam (of Srimad Valmiki Ramayanam) is one of the most celebrated scriptures of the Sanatana Dharma. It is considered as the treasure house of divine values and wisdom which enlighten the seekers and lead them towards Self-realization. Traditional scholars and Gurus mention Sundarakandam as an Anugraha Grantha which showers blessings on its devotees and fulfills all desires – shreyas and preyas.

As the name indicates, Sundarakanda is the most beautiful part of Valmiki Ramayana. It is equipped with exceptionally beautiful poetry and contains multiple knowledge systems within its womb, along with an interesting storyline.

The entire essence of Ramayana is summarized in Sundarakāṇḍa and each śloka of it is considered a mantra. Through contemplating on Sundarakanda regularly, we can understand that the grantha contains Value Education, interesting descriptions about Construction, Political Science, about the Earth and the Moon, about Anger management, about Stress management, about Leadership principles, about Employee behaviour, about Animal behaviour, about Communication skills, about Psychological handling of situations, about ‘what if’ analysis, dreams and prophecies, etc.
